World Science Festival, June 6th

Once again, the World Science Festival in New York brought together artists and scientists and crossed boundaries in all kinds of amazing ways.

"Listening to the Universe with gravitational waves" and "Bio Art" using pigmented e. coli to create artwork were among the programs. Stephen Hawking was honored at the Gala. Go to www.WorldScienceFestival.com for a full listing. This conference integrates science into many other human activities, and thus humanizes science.

I did a storytelling in the Authors Alley from Born With a Bang. Chad Orzel, author of How to Teach Physics to your Dog, stopped by the table afterwards for a chat.
